For anyone who is interested, an overview of my equipment:
Important Note: The initial post is written before i used all this stuff, i will change/comment the description of the equipment with my personal experiences over time...
Därr Boxes bought in Munich, the smaller one is the 32l "Bike-Box" priced at 90€ (04.2011),
while the slightly bigger box (called Big-Box) is 36l priced at 95€
The boxes are of different size because there is a bigger gap for the luggage rack on the exhaust side.
To mount the boxes on the luggage system you need an adapter,
i've chosen the Touratec Universal Adapter for 44€ (04.2011) each (1 per box).
Took me a whole day to drill all the holes and fit them on my luggage rack
(okay to my excuse, my flat is on the third floor and the transalp is parked outside, and i checked the position after each mount :D )
If you want to leave your boxes unattended,
you should also buy a pair of locks (simultaneously locked!)
Därr sells the pair for 13€ (05.2011).
The last thing i did with the boxes, was to tape the inner surface.
If you just put all your stuff in without a bag or something, everything will turn silver over the time :)
On top of the upper luggage rack i fasten these bags:
The blue one is an Ortlieb "Rack-Pack Sailing-Line" 89l (70€ 04.2011).
Sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and all my cloth go into this.
The black one is the well known "Motorcycle Dry Bag Classic" 59l (30€ 05.2011),
i bought this one for my tent and the tripod (because i want my tent dry and the tent bags provided are always too small!)
The sleeping mat is a MERU Down Comfort 800, the thing i really like about it is that they used cotton for the inner material.
I was pretty lucky when i bought it, payed 100€ for the last older 2008 model, normally its priced at 150€ (05.2011).
The sleeping pad is a self-inflating Thermarest "Trail pro Large", luxury 110€ (in April 2011), but it's really comfortable!
The pack size is quite big, but i should have enough space.
This nice little thing is a Samsung NC10 10" Netbook, got it a while ago from my parents.
Don't know what they paid for it, but i guess around 350€.
To make it more travel capable and a bit faster, i bought an Intel SSD (80GB) and a 2GB RAM (160€ total).
The wakeuptime (from standby) is around 15sec now, nice!
For cooking i use these things:
The Stove is a Coleman Feather which runs with unleaded fuel (pricy 80€ 02.2011)
The pots and pan are from Primus, not sure about the price, around 50€
Marmot Limelight 2P (180€ 04.2011)
